Default New Bowtech Stabilizer

Here is the new Bowtech stabilizer called the "Wild Thing". I guess that is the best way to describe it. Well anyway here it is.

That definately is one Wild looking Thing!! Is it made by Bowtech, or is another company making it for them? Anyone tested it out yet?

Not sure if they are made in house or not but I have had mine ( the one pictured above) for a couple of months now and to be honest the thing actually works extremely well I have compared it to several other stabilizers I have here and it performed better than my beloved Sorbotek

Yes it has a bend in it so you can have it offset to counter the weight of a bow mounted quiver

Do you guys actually shoot with your quivers on your bows? Just curious? First thing I do when getting up in my treestand is remove and hang the quiver. My two bownhunting buddies used to leave their quivers on until they started removing them and now they won't ever go back, lots of advantages to removing it (unless you are stalking).

The amount of 'bend' would, IMPO, not be enough to 'offset' the weight of a quiver loaded with arrows. The 'bend' would be better used trying to offset any torque the bow might have due to extenuating circumstances. They make offset brackets for effectively 'balance' a bow due to side weight problems.

As far as shooting with the quiver on the bow, it is usually not done unless stalking is the preferred way of hunting. It is, however, still done by many who hunt out of treestands; but, it is only a small percentage of those treestand hunters.

Yes sir, I did last year for the first time ever. I bought a BowTech 4 arrow 2 piece quiver. I loved the non hassle of having to remove it and put it back on every hunt. I will more than likely buy another 3 or 4 arrow 2 piece quiver again this year.

Is there any extra noise? I don't mind shooting with my quiver on but it is noisy as all getout. Its a 6 arrow Kwikee.
