Don't overlook Spot Hogg! I believe it is one of the best sights out there. They to come in .029 & .019.

You can check out www.classicarchery.com they produce a fiber pin in sizes .010, .019, .029... I find they are plenty bright for me without produceing a halo effect..... I find them comparable in brightness to the Toxonics Fibers on their hunting sights.
When I shoot 3D Competion with my scope I use the Classic Scope with the .019 fiber single pin... seems to work extremely well for3D for me.
For Hunting I am using the Toxonics line of Hunting Sights and some 3D Comp as well.

drstalker,
just to let u know my experiences with red sights at low light levels. they suck! lol they are the first to dim between yellow green and red. green is the brightest with yellow coming in second. just thought id tell u incase u have a choice between any of these colors [which u do with the vital bow gear vert pin sight]

Shootemup,Thank's I was thinking about that.My cosmic sight is a green sight,it seems to stay bright in low light.I checked out the HHC sights too they look like they are really well built.I shoot lefty too,so the pickins can be a bit slim at times.Lady Forge thanks for the link;)

I find for myself personnaly the Yellow Pin to be a real detrement to my performance.
I will be the first to admitt that I have far From perfect eyesight ... but my eyesight dosent suffer in the color differencial department... if fact I have very light sensative eyes.
I found myself haveing difficulty differencialting between the yellow and green fiber pin when at full draw ... when I first started using the yellow pin at a 3D Comp I made the mistake of shooting the target while holding the yellow pin on the 12 ring on the target all the while I thought it was the Green pin.... cost me a possible drop of 12 points in my score... I had to much of a hard time telling the yellow pin from the green pin. I found the color of the yellow pin to be to subject to color changes caused by lighting conditions, canopy cover colors that cause a change in lighting color caused by the light being filtered through the canopy and shadows. Sometimes the yellow pin would take on a greenish glow to it caused by the light being filtered through the green canopy above .
I personnaly prefer to use the yellow pin as the pin for the distance I shoot the least.
Just my personaly experience.
As for the Classic Scopes... I was introduced to them and bought mine from Ginger Moorehead... they have been working great for her and I really like them... The women is an awesome shooter and bowhunter and I feel privaleged to have been able to pick her brain on the subject...... I only wish I could shoot half as well as her;)
