RE: No cable guard bows!
Sign me up on the list with Ole Sag and Black Frog for the 3track cams for my Supernova.
I have yet to see a better designed system. I hunted with X-cams this year -- a Martin Slayr with a sub 7" brace. Never had a clearance problem with the cables, can load arrows just as fast as any other bow I shoot, and my broadheads flew awesome right down the middle out to 60 yards (furthest pin I had, but I am sure they would have kept straight out farther). If you have clearance problems on a bow with a more generous brace, I would put money on either your draw length is too long or you have a poor grip. I am still rubbing the lamp;) |
RE: No cable guard bows!
My Martin Sceptor nitrous x has the long axels and I still need to use the low profile vanes to get clearance with the 2613's.
This is one of the objections that two of the Martin team shooters pointed out when I asked them why they didn't shoot the x on their indoor bows. I don't have a problem with it and the x system works for me. Others will have different results. Learning to load the arrows nock first was no problem. Don't let that keep you from trying a bow with no cable guard. Good luck, Allen |
