I wont take a shot on a live animal much past 25 yards so personally I dont think FOC is all that important.

When you live in a place, as we do, & sometimes need to shoot ±, 50 or more yds it is helpful to get the best trajectory one can get, while keeping the arrow stable.
So some experimentation to find the best medium FOC for each bow & arrow set-up can be helpful, but demanding.
For most taking the average kill at less than 20 yds with a max of 25, I to would say as stated above; don’t concern oneself with the testing; anything between 7 & 17 would work well enough, maybe????
