Well, I broke down and bought the Trophy Ridge 3 pin camo with the level. Awesome sight. Didn't take me long to get sighted in and it turns out that I have been canting my bow to the left. Had a good time playing with it and messed up some more vanes. Good thing I know how to fletch my own!

tribal,

Is it a big deal to get used to checking the bubble level before every shot? Or would you think it will become second nature? It just seems that looking back and forth between the pin and the level would be hard. I will soon find out. I may just check out the Trophy Ridge sight, or some other bubble level sight.

Well, the first 10 shots or so, I kind of forgot about the level. Then I drew back once and noticed it there. So I started paying attention to it. I checked the level first and then set my eye on the pin. I don't think it would take more than 50 shots or so for this to become a habit that you do automatically. I REALLY love not having to dig out my allen wrenches!

This may be obvious to most shooters but I have not seen it mentioned here yet.
Have you made sure your sight is level????? Before adding a level to it?????
There are lots of sights out there that need to be adjusted or shimmed to be made level.
Just because you buy a new sight and put it on your bow doesn't mean it's level.

The best way I have found is to put the bow in a bow-vice and level the riser perpendicular, then attach your sight (or level to the sight if it doesn't have one already)and see if it reads level, chances are it won't without a little fine tuning of the axis adjustment on the sight. If the sight doesn't have an axis adjustment then shims will need to be used to level it up.
Alot of people will also make their sight level with the bowstring, but remember some single cams will not have a level bowstring even when the riser is level, that is why I like to level the riser instead.
