Depends on if I am shooting the Hunter or IBO pegs.
Hunter pegs-Usually 4 pins 20, 30, 40, and 50.
IBO pegs-target sight/4x scope... 10-100yd adjustable.
Recurve... none<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I guess they didnt get your question. I shoot the HC class with a 20-28-35. yard pin and it works very well for me. With a fast bow there isn't room for another pin out to the 35yd HC class max. Going to Lumberport Sunday?

I think this is a more complicated question than you think. What is your arrow speed and peep to pin length? A slow bow may need pins @ 5 yard increments. Also your distance judging abilty will make a difference on your pin spacing. The Peep to pin distance is important for pin spacing as well. If it is relativley short the pins will have to be very close together.
There is much more to this question answer than maybe you bargained for. I would say that only you can decide what pin spacing works for you on your bow. Everyone will be vastly different.
Happy Shooting!

3dNWV, weather pemitting! This will be my first shoot so I expect to do poorly. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I shot a 240 last weekend in VA but it was a little diffrent than IBO, they didn't clear the lanes. I sometimes had to shoot from one knee to see the target. It was tough but fun.
