Default New Simms Limb Savers

Just received a set of Simms Limb savers for my PSE Thunderbolt.

Does it matter where on the limb I install them? How far from the riser, etc?

Its says in the directions. I think it says so they are 3/4" away from the string or something.

To install LimbSaver® to split limb bow:

1. Starting with the lower limb first, place Split LimbSaver® on inside of limb as far out as possible, but at least 3/4" from cables. (see diagram A). Allen screw mounting bracket should be on outside of limb.

2. Then place top LimbSaver® the same distance from the axle as the bottom LimbSaver®.

3. Do not over tighten Allen screw. Center on limb and finger tighten until snug, then tighten with Allen wrench 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn.

Note: Replace when worn.
Remember to replace Solid LimbSaver® when they are worn. This is when the mushroom is tearing away from the stem. The longevity of the LimbSaver® may vary depending upon how many times you shoot your bow and a variety of other conditions. Made with our proprietary NAVCOM™ (Noise and Vibration Control Material).
