Default WOO HOO Got a new toy.

Brought home a new Hoyt XTEC yesterday. Went to two different shops so I could shoot everthing I wanted my old bow is a 2001 Bowtech Pro-38 and I wanted to try the new stuff.Shot Bowtechs Liberty and Patriot also the Mathews Legacy and Outback and last Hoyts Ultrartec and Xtec.It was a tuff call and it came down to the Liberty and Xtec.I felt the Xtec had less jump and it just felt better so I went with it.Set it up with a Muzzy Zero Effect rest a Vibracheck Isoflex stabilizer and HHA sports model 5500 single pin adjustable sight.Man its sweet been shooting in the yard getting it dialed in already stacking my arrows on top of each other.LOVE IT

Bigbuck, I went to get mine yesterday and the trophy ridge drop zone string rubs on the brace. The pro shop wants to talk to TR tomorrow so I couldn't bring it home yesterday.[:@][:@] I did much the same as you shooting many and have to agree that the xTec is the best out there. They are all nice bows and any would do the job. I just fell in LOVE with the xtec. My wife remembers when I used to look at her like that. Guess I will have to wait until I can get back out that way. It is a ways away and I will be going by it on Friday. I just don't know that I can wait that long. Might have to make a special trip. Enjoy the new toy as I hope I will be by next weekend.

Congrat's on the new Xtec I'm sure it'll be a great bow but the Patriot Dually was for me . But I really did like the feel of the Xtec as well.

Bigbuckslayer3, Congrats on the X-Tec it is a GREAT bow. I shot a couple of them and they were impressive to say the least. The first time I shot one I could not believe it was set at 60#'s, and boy was it smooth. It pulled more like a 50# bow. I shot the first 3 arrows and they were all touching other at 20 yds. Secound group did the same thing. ENJOY
