I will most likely be buying a new bow this year. I was going to try something other than mathew's, but then I began to wonder if that would be foolish? What do you all think? Should I go with an Outback? Or go with a renegade or AR like I was going to.
How much did you all pay for your Outbacks? I read that they retail for $750, is that right? Thats alot of money when I have a bow that kills deer.
I do mostly hunting, but I shot in a target league last year and will probobly do it again this year.
Thanks!

Have you shot any of the above bows?
I think that there are currently several great bows on the market equal or better than a Mathews...
So find a bow shop w/ several different brands and shoot them all till you find one that feels the best to you.... don't just buy what all your buddies think is the coolest because they saw it on a hunting show or in a magazine.

Hey supe, i'm a dealer for all 3 (hoyt, bowtech and mathews) they all bring something different to the table. The best thing i tell my shooters is to shoot all 3 and go with the one that's feel's the best in your hand when you shoot'em. Feel's everything good luck

I'm gonna stop and shoot a few tomorrow. I love the feel and weight of the renegade SBD (3.0 lbs, 31" axle to axe) but I haven't shot one yet. I will shoot one tomorrow and whatever else I can get my hands on. I will probobly end up staying away from mathew's anyways becuase of the price tag.
Doesn't anybody here have an AR (Archery Research) or a Renegade?

I really like my mathews, this years bows look great and feel great. I also like the new bowtechs though. Go and shoot the ones your lookin at as much as you can, then make the decision.

The outbacks at my local pro shop are $635

I absolutly love the Outback. I'm not knocking any other bow, but I shot a few others, then the owner of the shop pulled his personal bow down which is an Outback and asked if I wanted to shoot it. Thats when I knew I had to have one!
Just pick the one that YOU like and are most comfortable with.
Thats my two cents...
