RE: OUTBACK #'s
Virginia Hunter,
I would say to buy the one you enjoy shooting the most. Personally,I like the extra inch of Brace height the Outback has for hunting with winter clothing. |
RE: OUTBACK #'s
Hey CBM SC,
How are getting 75 lbs.out of your OUTBACK ???.Did you twist the hell out of your cable and string,or just set the cam ti over-rotate ???.With the LX I had,,I had to do ALOT of twisting just to get 70 to 71,,and keep the cam in time.[:-] |
RE: OUTBACK #'s
Droptines..........Mine came in at 75 # and my LX came in at 74 # !! I have no idea why.......except the pre-load on the limbs from the roller gaurd system ! I could get 76-77 # easy out of the Outback with some cable twisting !!

RE: OUTBACK #'s
OK,,,but,,have you checked the position of your cam ??.I'm thinking your over rotating ALOT ???.With all those extra twist thrown in, are your other measurements still on,{A to A,and BH} ????

RE: OUTBACK #'s
Droptines.......I have had Mathews bows for 8 years ! I know what the timing is supposed to be like and these bows were dead on .......including the ata and brace height spec's when I left the shop !
If you are referring to my other post..........I just put the WC strings on "myself" and my cam is slightly over rotated ......only about 1/16" ! And I haven't even done a pull on it yet to verify the poundage ! Every Outback or LX I have looked at ........pulls over 70 # !! A guy on my mule deer hunt last year had two LX's .........one pulling 75 # and the other maxed at 73# ! Just about everyone else I have seen on here with one "maxed" out hits over 70 # !! Not sure why yours doesn't ..........but I would not be shooting with my cam "ALOT" over rotated !! |
