I can take up to 6 and if it is a year the I have restocked I will have six. If it's just before, I've been know to only have two at times. :)

I have 4 for deer. I also carry one for small game. Either an older broadhead (but still sharp) or a judo point.

I got a new quiver and really like the smaller compact features of the 4 arrow quiver. So this year I'll only be toating 4 arrows with me. Last year I had 8 and never shot more that 1 arrow on any of my trips afield.

My current quiver only holds 3 but if I get a cat quiver I may carry more of a variety of arrows for other "in-season" game animals to shoot at while in my tree stand.

My quiver holds eight. So I carry 6 brand new arrows with new broadhead blades. Then I have 2 practice arrows that I put new blades on and carry them. I would use one of these two arrows as a finishing shot if it is needed. These arrows allow me to save my new arrows for the important work that they are selected for.

3 or 4. unless my new hunting spot has more deer than last year's. which i hope it does
