I shoot a Classic Scope, 4 pwer lens, golden key clarifier, Sure Loc, I have poor distance vision, picked it up at the Illinois ASA Pro/Am after I spent some time with Ginger Moorehead discussing the scope I decided to purchase one and Ginger helped me choose all the spec for my scope, I have been more than happy with the scope, its nice to see those lines now
Now if I could just get away from using the clarifier..... but alas it seems like that will never happen, without the clarifier every lens and every power lens type and assorted brands are blurry [:'(]
The only down side to my Classic Scope is my husband likes it to much also, I keep finding it on his Mathews[&:]

Jay,
Sorry to pick, but try a period at the end of your sentences. It'll make things a bit easier to read. Just trying to be helpful.
I got one of those dumb sights, too. It's about as good as it gets. Don't have the lens, though. I don't think you'll like it for hunting, but it can help for target and 3D. I assume you have the OL-5000. Built like a tank. As you said, a bit pricey, but withe it's ruggedness and lifetime warranty you should not need a new one for a very long time. Also you get what you pay for. I always buy very good accessories. They move fro bow to bow over the years.
Good luck with it.

Are you referring to just a lens mounted to an adjustable sight or are you talking about an actual scope with multiple lenses in a contained housing?

Ah, you are referring to just a single glass lens style of scope.
A clarifier is basically another lens mounted into a peep sight. The extra lens adds clarity to the single lens mounted in the scope.
