It is pretty much last years Vortec. It only has the dual track idler, and the shorter limbs, and new limb pockets. I already own a Vortec, and was not interested in the CyberTec, so I have not shot one yet.

The CyberTec should be a great bow, you will love it.

Do you guys think the longer A-to-A will make it more forgiving than the Havoctec? The only thing I dont like about it is the 6 1/2" brace height. I usually stay above 7. My FX has a 7 1/2" brace. Will an inch make it quiet a bit less forgiving?

Ky, it really depends on your form, but I would guess that the 1 inch would not affect you too much, if you have decent form. The brace height generally does affect form flaws more than ATA length, but again, if you have a problem of canting the bow, this could also be a slight problem.
I will say that I am no pro, but my form is decent, and I shoot the same groups with my HavocTec, as with my Vortec. This is where shooting the bows before you buy them comes in handy.

I consider my form pretty good. I dont think i will have a problem with canting the Havoctec. Its not really the loss of forgivingness that bothers me about 6 1/2" brace. Its just the thought of it possibly hitting the sleeve of my coat in cold weather. If I get the Havoctec ill get a sight with a buble level just in case. Im pretty sure i could shoot each bow as accuratly as the other. Just wanted your opinions.

I think this is a great bow. I have one but mine doesn't have the dual track idler since I am not a fan of the single cams, yet, but was tempted to try one with the new idler. I still have last years UltraTec and thought it was unbeatable but wanted to try something different this year. Either this or the longer ProTec was what I thought about. While waiting for this one to arrive, I was second guessing my decision but since it arrived a few weeks ago, I'm convinced that I made the right decision. The UltraTec is collecting dust and I still hope to fill my deer tag with the CyberTec.

I have shot the Cybertec with Versa and Excel cams. The listed 6.5 inch brace height was actually closer to 7 inches on both bows with the limbs bottomed out (6.75 actually).

I did not notice a discernible difference in accuracy between the Havoctec and Cybertec when shooting both at the local indoor range....but, the indoor range isn't out in the hunting woods...

I shot a cybertec today at lunch and was VERY impressed! I was thinking of getting a Havoctec....but now Im not sure! I like the lightweight of the havoctec, but I do think the cybertec was more "recoil" free! Now I dont know what bow to get! The havoctec or cybertec!
