That is the wood's natural color, just has some Tru Oil on it. The wife like's it!! she thinks it's pretty It does work very well,,, as well as anything I've had so far.

Really, Frank. You need to get out more.

I've been thinking about making myself a recurve and combining ebony and purpleheart in the riser.

Gots to admit though, wwag, I've never seen purpleheart used for a stabilizer before. I like it.

LOL, can you believe all the commercials on the TV and radio advertizing that stuff???? I think it's pretty funny and sad at the same time. I hope I don't ever have to explain a commercial to one of my grandkids.
