Just got an outback and measured the axel to axel length, it is 31 11/16. could that cause any problems since the bow is supposed to be 31. I realize they are somtimes off a bit, but thats seems to be a fairly large amount. Also for anyone who has the bow, what is your ATA.\

If the limb bolts are backed out to decrease poundage - your A-A will increase

Maybe I'm goofed up, but if you back your screws out(decrease poundage) won't your A-A decrease?

Actually the specs are 31.5 ATA.

Buck fever, thank you very much for that, i should have checked it first thing.

As for backing off the poundage i have no scientific evidence but bottomed out the bow was 75lbs even on the scale, i backed it off to 70 even so it seems like backing them out does increase ata.

Let it be as it is, wvdeerhunter22. Just write the actuall length down somewhere and measure it again after some 500 shots. Mark a spot on your cam that tells you if the string stretches out a bit and if you really, really want it exact on the 31,5, you ad some turns on your string and place that cam back in its orginal position. Just dont be alarmed by little differences in brace and ATA lenghts. The bow will do just fine.

Measure your brace height ! My Outback is maxed out (75#) and measures exactly 7 5/8 " bh and 31.5" ata !

If my bh was 7 5/8" and my ata was 31 11/16" ....I don't think I'd worry about it ! Good luck!!

If your off by 1/8 or so on ATA, don't be alarmed. Bows typically will end up a little long after you've shot them a while and the string and harness's stretch. Heck, most of the time when you take them out of the box they are not exactly on spec. Just add a couple twist to your string and cables until its where its supposed to be.
