KE = speed x speed x arrow weight divided by 450240. So by increasing your poundage by 5 pounds you are going to increase your speed a little which will help some. But there is not much you can do besides buy a new bow.

It will increase some depending on what bow you shoot and how much your arrows weigh but don't worry too much about it. Just put the arrow where it needs to be.
What I would be worrying about would be useing a sharp broadhead like a two blade stinger or steel force for maximum penetration. Then go kill your deer or elk or moose.

Ditto what bigbulls said, get a more efficient broadhead design. I shoot and can honestly recommend the Stingers from Magnus. Fly very, very well, sharp out of the pack and lifetime guarantee. You could shoot at rocks for practice and they will replace them.
