Default speed questions

hey just wondering how much speed is gained per lb of draw weight, how much speed a 1/2" of draw length would add, and also how much speed do you lose from string leaches? If there is a better alternative to string leaches, please let me know. Thanks to all.

Default RE: speed questions

hey just wondering how much speed is gained per lb of draw weight,
Generally, 1.5-2 fps per # of draw weight increase, assuming all other variables remain unchanged.

how much speed a 1/2" of draw length would add
Generally, 4-5 fps at best.

and also how much speed do you lose from string leaches?
I've seen reports of between 2-5 fps, depending on where you have them on the string. The closer to the middle, the greater the loss.

If there is a better alternative to string leaches, please let me know. Thanks to all.
Shoot a very very heavy arrow
