Is this rest just the standard cord pulls the launcher up while drawing then spring pulls it away at release type rest or is there something unique about it, other than the launcher itself?

I was interested in purchasing one myself so I did some research on it from a bow shop here in Tucson. The rest does have the option to pull up when you draw the bow back but it can also be locked in the up position to begin with and when you draw back the rest is already up, but when you release it will still fall away. It looks like a really nice rest and I"m thinking of putting one on my bowtech.
