My ? is.How do you know where to put ,or better yet what is the reasoning of having the sight bar 6",9" or 12"??I'm not sure where to lock it down at .Any info would help

The farther the sight radius of your peep to your sight the more accurate you'll be. But you sometimes have to shoot the bar shorter to get longer distances.
