Easton Axis with a fixed blade?

Easton Axis with a fixed blade?
I've read a lot of stuff about the axis with mech heads, but how do they work with fixed blade? I don't realize why there would be any difference but if you have any ideas, my ears are open.

I've been shooting them for about a month now with Muzzy's and field points and they are awesome. Very consistant and the Muzzy's are flying like darts with them. The new HIT insert deal makes them much easier to tune IMO. Very easy to get a good spin from BH's with them.

Btpatriot, I'm using a helical fletch and a Trophy Taker drop away with mine. Seems like a real good combo for me. I use a pretty good helical to put a lot of spin on them and they work great. I may be able to get away with less, but I like the stabilization factor of the "boat prop" helical.

Muzzy, another? are you using a 2" or 4" vane? And did you have any problems w/ the rest that you are using. I heard that they do not drop all the way down. with the speeds that the bows are getting its not dropping quick enough.

I use 4" AAE elite plastifletch and do not have a bit of trouble out of Hoyt Vipertec. I never heard of a bow the Trophy Taker didn't work on. Whats nice about them is you can really fine tune how quick they fall and so forth. I had early trouble tuning the rest but that was completely my fault. I was lunk headed and wasn't setting the rest up high enough to allow the prongs to lay almost flat on the shelf at rest. That cleared up all my tuning issues with the rest.
