Default Brace Height Question

Right now I'm shooting a bow with 7" of BH. Will I notice a difference in shootability if I bought a bow with 6 5/8 BH? I'm currently shooting a Mathews Feathermax, but I have my eye on an Extreme VFT. Thanks

IMO (just talking Brace height)....if you have good form.....you'll not see a signicant difference in accuracy at all ! However .....arm slap becomes more of a factor !! I have had 4 in between 6 1/8" and 7 5/8" !!

I have a 7 inch brace height hoyt cam 1/2. I also picked up the extreme vft 2 1/2 weeks ago or so. My 4 week average score shooting 5 spot with the Hoyt this winter is a 282. My 2 week average with the Extreme so far is a 287. So I am shooting higher scores with the bowtech with less brace height than I was woith the Hoyt with more brace. The extreme is an awesome bow. You will LOVE it.

My thoughts exactly.....but draw length can also play a part in this equation.
