Well,I did it this time.I called the shop to check on my new arrows and to ask about a bow for my daughter and while having idle conversation,I asked how long it would take to get an Xtec and if I could get a co-op bow.The shop owner said sure and asked if I wanted 60# limbs and a 28" draw module.What was I going to say?At the price he shot me,there was no way I could pass up the bow,was there?



So how am I going to tell the wife after she hinted just yesterday that I didn't need another bow.[:o]

I think I am calling the flower shop tomorrow.[8D]

I hate to tell you, but I think it is going to take more than flowers. You may want to consider something that sparkles too, especially if she "hinted" that you did not need another. You are still in the dog house, if you are lucky.

Even the smart ones can't tell an x-tech from a wooden riser Browning[:o]

Just swap it out and pretend nothing ever happened.

If she is really on the ball and notices something, you may get away with this:

"New Bow? No, I just added on some sims riser extension vibration modules, looks cool right. Got them real cheap on E-Bay"


But I am blessed with a healthy population of dumb Blondes - so almost anything works:D

That might work Rack but I am not switching out, just adding one for hunting and keeping the Ultratec for 3-d.


I actually told her after she got home from work.I made up this story about I HAD to get it now or he might give the co-op away to someone else and I would have to pay quite a bit more this fall.

I think she bought it but she got on the net after and for some reason she has all these price list of cruises laying on the desk now.Hmmm,looks like the bow will cost me a couple grand.:eek:


Oh well,atleast I will have a new bow.

Just tell her that you thought she was using reverse phsycolagy on you. So you thought that's what she wanted for you to do .
