RE: Total length for 04 Patriot SC and MM
Well maybe I'm checking it wrong but I'm checking center axle to center axle.
I measured twice.If I go outside axle to outside axle I've got 34 7/8 that's it
I thought it was longer myself but I guess not.

Nubo,
What I was actually asking about was the overall length of the bow including the length of the cam and idler or in your case the cams beyond the axels.
But yeah the actual ata can vary from specs depending on the setup. The Mathews FX I have with the minimax cam has an ata of 33.5 and an overall length of 36 1/8, versus the advertised 34 ata.
One thing that I require in a hunting bow is compactness because of the thick type of terrain features that I hunt. While the longer risers make for a more stable platform they do take away from the overall compactness of the bow. So I've been looking at the new bows and was very interested at the new Outback, and I'm still going to look at it, but the 23.5" riser and the overall length of 35"(ata31.5) on that bow doesn't give me much more compactness than what I've got now. So I was thinking to take a look at the 04' MM. I really like my bow but I'm always looking for something if it will be a significant improvement in terms of my hunting requirements.

From top of cam to bottom of cam is 38 5/8" but I understand now, I guess this one's just a bit long, but I'll tell you this is one sweet bow .
