We need to know what size of arrow you are shooting and what all have you done to tune this bow? How well are you holding on the plate at 40 yards? Are you staying in it the whole time or wobbling around on it and coming off it some while aiming?

How long are your arrows? They might be a little underspined. I would definitely invest in a good stabilizer for the farther shots. It helps you aim and control the bow during the shot. I really like the Vibracheck Isolator or Strikewave stabilizers. They don't cost that much and are top quality with an awesome warranty. Ron Gilley is a super guy and will do all he can to help you if needed.
