Paul,

I did what I can do from here. Make sure the dealer gets on the phone ASAP to try and get this cleared up for you.

Regards, Pat

sigep1967,

I'm sorry you have a problem with your new bow.[:'(]

If there are too many twist in the cable the draw length should also be long. If so, just take a few twist out until it makes 64#:D and the draw length and pounds should be right. Or you can send it back and have the guys at the factory fix it.:)

Sig,

Since you are getting new limbs...

When you/the dealer take the bow apart, measure the string and cables and make sure they are the correct length.

If not I would

A) contact BT and have them get you the correct lengths

and

B) for a quick fix since you need it for the shoot, you can likely take some twists out of the cables to where the harness is not so wound up and then put twists in the string to get the draw length right.

Please let me know how you make out :)

P.S. Don't be a stranger Kevin! :D

Now that is something you don't see too often. Maybe we should have a "ask the manufacturer" forum here on hunting.net....:D.

Well if it was a 1 cam bow I think I could untwist the cable and be ok but it is a dually and I am afraid that would throw it terribly out of time. It looks to have had about 6-7 extra twists if not more put into the split part. The split is only about 3" long just barely enough to clear the cam. I checked tha ata length and it seems to be ok.

Sig,

Not if you untwisted both harnesses equally (which would put the cams out of the proper rotation but would keep them in synch) and then twisted up the string to get them back to the proper rotation.
