Hello everyone,I have a question that somebody might be able to answer.I currently have a HHA Optimizer 5000 with the .029 pin ,what I would like to know is if this fiber optic is replaceable. I would like to replace the .029 with a .o19 I seem to get a halo effect with the bigger pin.It doesn't happen when I target shoot only when I draw on a deer.I drew on 7 deer this season and saw that halo on 5 of them, I think this might have cost me my biggest buck of the season, but thats another story. Any info would be great .Thanks a lot...Pete

Pet,
I think this is a question better answered by HHA. However, have you tried just wrapping a bit of electrical tape around the wrapped fiber? It would make it less bright. How much so depends on how much you cover.
I don't know if this will help. I hope I was interpretting your question correctly.

Thanks for the reply BGfisher. The problem is when looking through my peep sight Which is a Red Hawk low light ,the size of the pin throws off a halo. This might be caused by the fact that it is so bright,I don't know.I will try to cover over some of the fiber optic and see if it helps. But this will contradict with what I like so much about this sight.I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too.I just thought that if I could switch the fiber optics I would have what I was looking for.I guess an E-mail to HHA is in order.
