Default RE: Feather Chopper

That's the critter you use for die cutting your own feathers. Buy full length feathers and chop what you need when you need. I've stopped buying store chopped feathers entirely and do all my own. The choppers are available in a number of different shapes and you can also have your own custom shape made.

Default RE: Feather Chopper

Sure you can, but it's not as easy as it might seem. You need to split the feather then grind or sand the base flat. Not bad if you only use a few. BTW the best thing I've found to use on the Lil Chopper is a rubber mallet. Oh yea, you need a different chopper for left and right wing feathers.
