RE: Drop-away Questions
I use the QT 2000 and it works great. I have never had any problems with it. Like the other guys said it holds an arrow real well. The only thing about it that i do not like is the cable slide. It sits a little too far out and was real close to touching my vanes. I solved this by drilling a hole in my regular slide and attaching the cable to it using the same NAP hardware. Some people have simply replaced the cable with a cord and attached it to the downward moving buss cable. Other than that little kink it has been a great rest.
I do have a question fot the TKO users. Is the TKO able to be set up in a manner so that before you draw the bow it stays in the up position and then as you draw the bow it unlocks itself and then falls when it is released? Oe does it act just like the NAP QT? |
RE: Drop-away Questions
Hey Muzzyman88 I'm assuming you were at Millers or RMC then when the bow blew up then. I've been in both places occasionally but never shot in either of them. Yeah that would be great to get together and shoot. I work 6am to 2pm so some times in the winter months I will head to The bowhuntershop after work to shoot. I actually haven't pulled my bow out of it's case for a while but as soon as flintlock season is over on saturday i'll be out flingin some. Maybe we could get together some time next week maybe monday or tuesday. Have you had any experience with the trophy taker shakey hunter, is it really as good as everyone says? I'm trying to be a good boy this year and not spend too much on hunting equipment as the wife and I are trying to buy a house in the next year or so, so price is an issue with this new rest, I don't want to drop $100 bucks on a new rest.
