Beman ICS 400's are very reliable arrows. And they don't carry the price tag of gold tips or acc's.

I only pay $30 per half dozen for gold tip hunters or $40 for the Xt's at the local shop. Not to expensive.

SportsMn , I had trouble with the Beman Matrix bending fairly easy..... they are not nearly as durable as A/C/C's .

As for the poll:

I have used A/C/C's and they are nice arrows .......but they will bend (not easily) and they are very expensive (comparitively) for something that gets lost, broken, bent , hit with other arrows, etc. !! When a deer breaks one of my carbons I do not cringe like I did shooting A/C/C's !!

The best arrow money I have spent in the last 2 years has been buying PSE Dominator arrows for $59 a dozen and putting Easton nocks in them. They shoot as accurately as any I have shot out to 50 yrds and are tougher than any arrows I have used. Also ,as with all 100 % carbons, they are broke or straight......no in between !

Prefer A/C/Cs by far, but will try anything and everything.

In all-carbon shafts I prefer Easton/Beman C2 process shafts, and Carbon Express is a close second.

I use both the Beman ICS Hunters and Easton Evolutions. As stated before, the Beman and Easton ICS carbons are terrific quality for the cost.

I've been shooting CarbonWood shafts by Blackhawk out of my recurve. I'm pleased with them so far as well.
