I have a fred bear Code bow that i have had for a couple years now. I was wondering is putting on new cables necessary at all? I dont shoot very much. Is there a way to know if my cables are stretched to much? They look pretty good now but i figure its the offseason so i would see what people had to say. They dont look all to frayed since i use string wax on them alot. Do you ever change your cabels?

I replace my strings and cables once a year. It is cheap insurance. I do shoot pretty much year round, with a break in Dec and Jan.
