Have any of you guys got the MZE to work on this bow? Is there enough cable slide travel? If not what drop aways have worked out well for you.

Dennis,

I have never used a MZE on any bow, but I know Ausie_guy uses one on his DC PAT, and I *think* Matt/PA used one at some time.

The only drop-away I've used on my personal bow is the MBG Trapdoor, which works great.

From what I've seen most of the drop-aways that use a slide to control the rest arm can be problematic on a a bow with such short cable slide travel as any of the VFT bows have. However Ausie would be able to tell ya what kind of effort was involved w/ the MZE

Dennis.

Jeff is right I have the MZE on my Pat Dually and it works great plenty of cable travel to get it and down out of the way.

If you want I can take some pics and email you.

Got bit by the speed bug Ausie? I think you will like it. Mine is a 02 tall BH and shoots very well. 70@29 402gn CE 400 peep and loop @ 296 w78#KE. The 04's should be rockets with all of the new goodies. It should be a great bow! Have fun with your new ROCKET LAUNCHER

Dennis.
After I got my Pat Dually I shot the BK2 and almost traded the Pat back in
It was not so much the speed but the whole shootability of the BK2.

I think it will be my primary 3d bow next year.

IMO the Pat Dually is still my perfect hunting bow.

Ausie were you comparing the 04's? I havent yet shot the 04 models but the Pat dually from the specs its the most attractive model to me. Im looking at the Pat for hunting then setting up my BK2 for 3-D. Did the BK2 shoot and feel better than the Pat in your hands?

I had an 03' Pat Dually and I think the ZE effect would work without problem.......I do have an 04' BKII ordered as well. (I have the Liberty , might as well go the other way for a play bow)
I was contemplatin throwing a ZE on that when it gets here, I just hope that it will work with the low brace height.......not sure what role that bow is going to play just yet but i've been threatening to get one for 3 years now, and I finally bit the bullet. Mine is going to be a 60# model, so who know maybe I'll try a little 3D with it?
Ausie can I hire you to come along and pull the arrows?[] $2.00 an hour with your name on it!

I still would like to get my hands on a Pro40 Freedom cam for full time 3D but not sure how I'm going to swing that one?
