RE: Good rest for kids
I dont own a digital camera yet so i cant show you what i did for my son but i set his nova up with a old PSE rest.
Its very simple and strong.
Just hard plastic v-shaped plate.
In those days it was called a plate i think....dont remember.
His arrows lay deep in the rest and its working great.
Good luck with bringing your kid into archery.
They lov' it and its great for their education.

I would think the Whisker Biscuit would be good. I put a Muzzy zero effect on my boy' s junior mag and he loves it. The arrow can' t fall off and he doesn' t have to worry about which way the vanes are rotated. Also, his bow is set at 42 lbs. and he does deer hunt. I would think the Muzzy would not lose any speed and the biscuit might cost you some speed which could be very important to a youngster shooting low pounds. Just a thought. Don

RE: Good rest for kids
My best friend got his daughter a Parker bow and the Quick-Shot whisker biscuit. It was fun to watch her actually hit the target and not have the arrow fall off the bow and land by her feet. Personally I think the whisker biscuit is the safest rest that you can put on a bow for any shooter to use. Good luck hunting!
