yes, Rocket has a major problem with blade sharpness. They make some good heads, but need to try and at least make an attempt to sharpen the blades before letting them go to the public!

Since Rocket heads came out,I have a new " gage" for blade sharpness. If I buy a head, and the blades are ATLEAST as sharp as a Rockets blades,,then I know they will do the trick.I used to use N.A.P. blades as my " gage" ,,but that just did' nt work.

NO OTHER BLADES CAME CLOSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same comments as 5shot here. Their only real fault is the sharpness of the blades. You can try sharpening them a bit but don' t overdo it as you may damage the integrity of the blades themselves. They seem to always be hit or miss with me. Some packages are half decent for sharpness while others are just plain horrible.
