simms products
I am thinking about adding the enhancer stabilizer to my q2xl, and was wondering what your opinions are on it. I am also thinking about trying the simms cable slide, and was wondering what you think of it, and does it work better on the q2xl, than the factory slide. Thanks for your responses.

RE: simms products
I don't know how the cable slide will perform on your Q2xl, but I installed a teflon slide on my Hoyt Ultratec and picked up 4 fps just by reducing drag on the cable guard. Bohning makes one as well and it's a little cheaper, works great.

BH, I went to a bow shop(Performance Archery) down in San Diego last week and the owner showed me the new stabilizer Simms had come out with for 2002. I put it on a Q2 and shot a few arrows,it felt great. If I'm not mistaken it's called the Modular Stabilizer consisting of 3 balls/circles/donuts that screw together-additional sections called 'singles' can be added as well...as can the Enhancer. He only had the model he had brought back from the show so I'm having one sent to me back home when they get their order in. It was around $60.

I can't believe you guys with the Mathews haven't been forced to buy the Simms slide earlier. My stock slide on my Q2 would make a mean squeak once in awhile so I was forced to by the Simms slide and wow what an improvement. The slide seems to be made to fit Mathews, with the same staggered slots as our stock slides.Give one a try, they are nice. As far as the stabilizer goes,I have an Enhancer 2000 with a little stabilizer enhancer screwed into the front of the 2K and another little stabilizer enhancer screwed into the back bushing behind the stabilizer and below the grip.... talk about taming bow jump....WOW!!! This is one sweet shooting Q2
