To my knowledge, McPherson as a bow company is till operating and making bows. Try a search for their website, if they have one you should be able to get info on their local dealers.
As for the sight, I think I remember seeing something like that in Cabelas over the years. Is it legal in your state? I don' t think it is in mine, if it works like I' m thinking it did.

McPherson bought out Pearson a couple years back. All Pearson bows are now McPherson designs. At first, McPherson was still producing high end bows under their own name in addition to the Pearson line, but I' m not sure that' s the case any more.
