PSE DNA shooters
Guys I need some help. This bow is driving me crazy. My last 3 bows (Martins) were tuned shooting FTs and BHs to same POI in an hour.
This PSE will not shoot a fixed blade to same POI no matter what I do. I am shooting 26.5" Gold Tip 5575 shafts @ 58#, Blazer vanes, NAP Apache arrow rest.
I noticed that there is significantly less centershot clearance on this bow compared to my Martins. I suspected fletching contact and no matter how I oriented the vanes it looked like they may be contacting either the shelf or the side of the riser. I even re-fletched a couple shafts with lower profile Duravanes to try and solve this.
NOTE: everything in my set up is squared up. left/right alignment is also in line (laser aligned).
At 20 yds, the closest I can get the BHs to the FTs is 3"-4" and always the BHs are hitting higher. I've even resulted in moving the rest in miniscule amounts - like <1/64" at a time. I would shoot 3 groups of 2 FTs and 2 BHs to verify impact.
I am close but still not quite there. Any suggestions?
