I have not had good luck with any of the commercial waterproofing products for arrows. Try camp dry spray, just don't soak the feathers. Spray from a couple feet away and spin the arrow while spraying. A little will go a long way.

I've also used Camp dry or Scotchguard to waterproof my feathers. But I've also used a product called Wonder dry which is probably another name for Neverwet. (A very fine powdery - almost lighter than air substance). When applied properly it is very effective. I used to put mine in a plastic bag large enough to be able to put the fletched end of an arrow in, hold the open end closed and shake vigorously for a minute or two. Remove the arrow and rub the residue into the feathers (with the grain). When done you can run your fletchings under the faucet and they won't get wet.
But, the silicon spray is more convenient and easier to apply. Just do it a few weeks prior to hunting season to give the odor time to dissipate.
