I prefer getting closer to 7gr per pound. Seems to be a great compromise between speed and weight, gives me great accuracy and not much noise. Plus the added weight ups my ke, which is never a bad thing.

I'm assuming you are spined correctly...if your not, you'll play heck trying to tune your bh's. Based on my experience, you should be shooting a 340 spine. Good luck, enjoy it....Bowhunting is a blast.

Look up how to determine your arrows FOC weight percentage. An ideal foc is more critical than the overall arrow weight. Higher foc helps the arrow track better also.
