The diameter isn' t the only thing that makes up weight. Wall thickness plays a big roll.....2117' s are pretty heavy. 2014' s aren' t super lightweight either. Both are heavier than carbons...I think. Check out Easton' s website for wieght specs....Gold tips as well. Most importantly, you need to shoot arrows that are properly spined....any old aluminum will not work. It has to be spined for your length and wieght.
