Default 340 or 400 AXIS N-fUSED?

According to the Easton selection chart my bow should be using the 400's. Our local archery shop told me to get the 340's. I have shot both and it seems that the 400's (older non N-Fused Axis) are a little more accurate than the 340's (N-Fused). That by itself seems backwards.
So how much should I stick to the selection chart vs. believing my local expert?
