I am looking at getting a TRU Ball Rack master with a loopmaster head. Does anyone have any experience/opinions on this release.
Thanks

Not that release in particular, but I have the Stinger model. I love it. Very adjustable. Their customer service was great when I requested a leather buckle strap. I wouldn' t hesitate to buy another release from this company.

Truball makes a very good release but not the loop master[:@]. It is without a doubt the worst release I' ve ever shot[X(]. It is very hard to snap on the loop and if you don' t get it locked, you will know it when the blood drips from the corner of your mouth. I had mine go off twice before I realized it wasn' t completly locked in a 3D. You could probably get by in 3D if you were VERY careful but trying to get it locked in a hunting situation could be an adventure[

Well, I got my RackMaster with loopmaster head the other day. It had a comfortable feel and looked good. However, when I went to operate it, things went downhill. After reading the instructions (only on adjusting, no instructions on operation) I could never get the release to 1) stay locked when pressure was applied & 2) when closed the trigger never would release the caliper. I don' t know if I did something wrong or if there was something wrong with the release. I contacted TRUBall and haven' t heard back. I stated the same as I did here and want to know whether to exchange for another release or simply return it.
