Painting your peep

Painting your peep
I notice at times under certain lighting conditions when I have my bow drawn and am looking down the peep, sometimes the outline of my peep seems to almost blend in with the colors down around my target. Which obviously when I try and center my pin inside my peep, its kind of hard to tell if it is exactly centered or not. But my question was if anyone has tried painting the outline of their peep with maybe whiteout or something brightly colored so that when they are focusing on the pin, they can clearly tell in their peripherals that it is in middle of the peep sight? I hope this makes sense and some people can comment. Thanks.

Really, I think a better solution would be to just buy a different colored peep. With colors like red, blue, silver, gold, something has to work for you. Seems that painting it has more potential for causing problems than anything. But hey, for as cheap as they are, go ahead and try it. Either it will work or you'll have to buy a new one anyway.
