What the heck just happened???
A friend of mine just purchased a new top of the line Bowtech. He drew it back with his fingers and all hell broke loose. The cables and strings came off the cams. HE DID NOT DRY FIRE THE BOW!!!!! The manufacture said you can't draw the string back without using a release. If this is true, why isn't Bowtech putting this as a warning on their bows? Has anyone else had this problem?

doesnt surprise me at all....bowtech knows already, but just like BMW, they are working on new color schemes instead of repairing the problems.....when they get the sound just right, maybe they will fix this.

They deepened the cam grooves on their cams so people that can't draw a bow or let one down with out torquing it with their ninja death grips won't derail the strings.

They already fixed it. So did PSE and so did Mathews.

You know, some of you guys really get me. Here I ask a question in hopes of learning something. If I had known the answer, I wouldn't have asked it. Instead I get some smart*** answer.
