The rest it' self is " tuned" just like any other rest on a bow. I have played around with it for a while now and have found that if you shoot the ICS type carbons you will need to trim one side flat, the same goes for the " skinny" type carbons. 4" fletch works best. Feathers will work, but tend to get " fuzzy" and a little louder over time. If you shoot aluminums I have found that trimming both sides works great and doesn' t affect the abilty of the rest to hold the arrow. Aluminums draw a little louder, but I don' t think enough to scare your game away. I have been using the new Arizona vanes recomeded for the WB and so far Have found them to be very tough and durable. They are pricey but worth it so far. Go to the carolina archery website and click on tuning section They offer some good advice.

Thank you for the web site 5shot. I just had to open it up a little because there was too much bristle touching. I had never owned one and there sure isnt much to theses things is there. I shoot fingers and this is alot different than my old springy.

For finger shooters the whisker biscuit often shows a nock-left tear for right handed shooters. This can be mitigated quite a bit by trimming the back of the biscuit flat thereby minimizing the tension of the rest. Trimming will also increase the speed of the arrow through the rest. Good luck hunting!

Whats the problem?
