Default drop away noise

I just had my first drop away installed. It is a trophy taker pronghorn i got for free. Shot through paper great. I am shooting awesome but getting a loud whack when it hits the shelf. Will moleskin do the trick or is there something better? Thanks

Mole skin will help . But the launcher arm should not smack the shelf . See if you can set it if it passes verticle to hit the shelf . If you cant set it like tat try raising your drop away untill it stops smackin the shelf .

Yeah, I wouldn't think it should be hitting the shelf. I would definately raise it until it clears every shot. You may have to move your nocking point but would still be better than the noise I would think.
