The string stops near each of the cams, well one is split and the other looks like it is starting to split. I have already ordered new ones but I dont know how long the one was split. Last week my DXT started shooting all over the place could this be when the string stop split.

Yep, you could have some broken stands under the serving and causing you to shoot all over. This happened to a friend of mine in a 3D shoot a few years ago, I suggest putting it up until you replace your string.
