Default making a shoot upwards??

Going on a mountain lion hunt soon. as alot of times they will be taken form being treed or elavated spots, my question is how much compensation is there in shooting upwards. any info or pratice tips would be helpful. Thanks

bow or gun? bow i take it........there are those new built in rangefinder w/ angle adjustment. here they work way better for upward angles then downward. yes bend at waist
