Im kinda new to bowhunting..I own a bowtech bow and have shot it some and am goint to be heading into the deer woods this fall withit in hopes of taking a deer.I know alot of what to do to shoot a bow accuratly but was just wondering if u guys could post up what u guys do as you go through your shots to make your shots as accurate as they can be..thanks!

Be mentally prepared. Archery is mostly mental once you have decent form. Make sure you are repeating the same thing everytime, and also, when you are in the woods, try and not forget about all that backyard practice in the moment of truth. Most of the time, all that goes out of the window when the deer comes...

Once your sure you've got the bow/arrows tuned up as best you can practice in a variety of ways.One of the best ways is to get some Judo heads and just roam around the woods shooting at unknown distances from different positions.Shoot up hill,down hill at steep angles,etc.Obviously plenty of shooting from a tree stand both standing and sitting is very important if that's how you plan to hunt.The main thing is to get good at judging distance/learning your arrows trajectory.Practice at any distance from 10-50 or so yards.Practicing long shots will make closer shooting that much easier.Good luck!

Forgot to say be sure you also practice some while wearing the clothes you plan to hunt in.You need to be certain nothing interferes with the bow sting.Some hat brims,sleeves,face masks can catch the string a bit throwing your arrow off target.I prefer snug fitting face masks like Spandoflage and boonie style hats.If you have trouble with the sleeve of your bow arm an arm guard might solve the problem.
