Just serve it in and then spin the chord untill it is out of the way and then tighten the set screw.I have had no issues with any binding.I have actually had no issues of anykind.

TFOX, I was hoping you'd stop by this thread. ;)

So...last night I got it setup. The lowest I could get my arrow is with the bottom of the arrow about half way through the berger hole. I lowered the prongs all the way and fiddled with turning them. I haven't yet taken the plastic covers off the prongs.

One thing I had to do with the Allegiance is move the cord pretty far down the cable. If not, it would bind with the down cable. At full draw, I made a mark approximately 1 1/2 inches below the cross and tied in there. It's still close, but doesn't seem to interfere with the rest.

I set my nocking point and adjusted left/right on the rest to get me in the neighborhood and did a few powder tests. NO CONTACT first shot through.:D Man, this rest is VERY fast. I'm also noticing that it seems very quiet as well.

I'll get to paper tuning some night this week and try to finalize my settings. But so far, I'm pretty impressed. Setup WAS NOT difficult at all.

also if you lower the whammy arms down int the support arm you get clearance problems with the hen vanes

ozbowhunter, if you need to, shoot cock vane up. This rest is so quick that I believe it won't pose any issue.

to late :Dits sold and gone i agree its a nice rest but i didnt like the way it was on the bow even the back of the rest was to close to the bus cables

Muzzy,if you take the covers off and put moleskin on them,then that will lower you and get you a little closer to dead center.Just make sure the rest isn't slamming into the shelf and lower the vertical adjustment as much as possible.


The rest is kinda scary from the outside looking in but once you set one up and learn to do it properly,you actually find out is is one of the simplest to set up.


I have my prongs lowered to the max and I have turned my prongs so the arrow sits down further and I have no contact issues,even with 4 fletch.As I stated earlier.

To me,one of the best things about the rest is the micro adjustment.This is a must for me and the way I like to tune.

Hey TFOX, I fiddled with it a while tonight and honestly, on this bow and I'm fairly certain any Bowtech, it is almost impossible to get it anywhere near dead center on the hole. The lowest I could get it was about 1/4 of the hole covered. I can live with it since it only took 4 shots to paper tune.:D

I did mess with the prong rotation and I have it to a point where I'd have to stand on my head to get the arrow to come off. So far, I'm really diggin this thing. Honestly, the setup of this rest is so simple. The most difficult part IMO is figuring out how far down the cable to hook in. For my Allegiance, I had to go pretty far down to get it to clear the cables at full draw.

I can't wait to get it to the shop to really put some arrows through it.

1/4 of the way down is probably about the same as any other berger hole on most bows on the market,BT hole is lower than most.

IMO,the lower the better but there does come a point when enough is enough.

It is definately one of the easiest rest to tune.Great guidance and no contact issues,along with micro adjustment makes it a breeze.

On a side note,I was shooting on a shop range a couple weeks ago and one of the techs notice my cock vane was up and he said to me,your vanes are going to hit.[&:]I said no they won't and he asked,you aren't shooting a fallaway are you?:D,Yes I am,then he took a closer look and said I tried to set one of those up and I couldn't get it to clear.:eek:He said he never saw it fall:D,I said you aren't going to.;)

TFOX, you're right about the speed of this thing. It's almost baffling. I did a lipstick test last night (stolen from wife, not mine) and have zero contact issues shooting cock vane up.

One thing that I think is overlooked about this rest is the sheer amount of adjustability and options. There are plenty of adjustments in the rest to achieve pretty much any configuration you'd like. You can also get other prongs for it if you wish.

Of course I'm assuming this rest can take the abuse of the deer woodsas well. ;)
