Default Sight mount holes on Martin Bengal, wrong size???

I bought a new Martin Bengal, I put my rest on just fine. But when I tried to put my sight on, the screws did not match the holes, the screws were to big or the holes were to small. The screws fit my old bow just fine, is there another size of screw. I have always though that this kind of stuff was standard??? Any help???

The holes are the same. It's an AMO standard. You There might be some paint in them from the dipping process. Do you have a 10x24 tap handy? If not you can always get a tap or even a self tapping 10x24 screw (bolt) from any hardware store. If these aren't an option then a trip to your local shop will sort things out.

Paint in holes, no big deal.
